In addition to addressing the immigrant’s plight, she calls into question the immigration process or lack thereof, the United States legislative broken immigration policy, religious leaders and their roles, US Border Patrol and US citizens. Picture this, a nice little bungalow close to the Rio Grande River, with excellent views and a multitude of wildlife. Six months later, picture that same little bungalow, and instead of the scenic view of the river, picture a 20 foot high wall of concrete posts. The migratory routes for the wildlife have been eliminated, and private property has been condemned. All this just to build a fence. Are the American people aware of the costs associated with the U.S.-Mexico Border Fence? Monetarily the amount is astronomical. Are the American people aware of the fact that during the Bush administration,…

Donald Trump is the Republican choice and holds views which beforehand were only used as internet jokes, which has led many to initial think he was a joke run for president before he realised he could actually win. He believes that a wall should be built on the Mexican border to prevent people from crossing over without earning a USA citizenship, and also thinks that Muslims should not be allowed into the country in case they are terrorists. Furthermore Debate.com also states, “it is a waste of government resources¨. This wall is a tool for controlling immigration and it would be an awful. On the contrary, someone might want to argue that it prevents people from Mexico from coming to the border or United States, but this counter-argument is flawed because it will waste billions of money and it will be useless in the interest of people still immigrating and trafficking into the United States. Also, those trafficking will find alternate routes to smuggle…
