Donald Trump: Illegal Immigration In The US
Immigration Issues

Donald Trump thinks that illegal immigration is one of the most serious issues that needs to be dealt with in America. He believes that there should be extensive precautions used to help stop this. As we head into the election on Tuesday, Donald Trump stresses this issue more and more and hopes that the citizens of America will agree with his statements and vote for him.

Donald Trump repeats over and over that the illegal immigrants are not only affecting the southern states but also affecting the economy of all of the U.S.A. by taking the jobs that working-class Americans could have. “They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists,” as he said to WJLA-TV in an interview. “We want people to come into our country…legally, legally,” Trump stated. “As president, I would be very, very tough on the borders,” he claimed. He said all of these things contributing to his overall thought on immigration: “These are people that shouldn’t be in our country.”

“We’re going to build the wall, and we’re going to stop. It’s going to end,” Trump stated while campaigning in March. “A nation without borders is not a nation,” he announced during one of his speeches. He hopes to strengthen our borders and strengthen the entire nation in building this wall. Trump has also said that this wall could prevent ISIS personnel from entering the United States through the southern border. All of these things said by Donald Trump contribute to his overall idea of keeping illegal immigrants out of our

On October 26, 2006, U.S. President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act of 2006 to help secure the US. Mexican border to decrease drug trafficking and security threats. The act mandated the construction of almost 700 miles of barrier fences along the Mexican border. The act also appropriated the expansion of checkpoints, vehicle barriers, and technological systems designed to monitor the expanse of the boundary but per the department of homeland security, this promise had not been kept, just 5 percent of the double-layer fencing is complete, only 36.3 miles. Under those circumstances, the boldest promises made by the president-elect, Donald Trump, as well as one of his first promises, was building a wall along the US-Mexican border.…

Trump wants to end DACA. I think that he shouldn’t end DACA.The DACA program allows undocumented young adults work in the country legally. DACA was an Obama-era program. “The DACA program, announced by President Obama in June, 2012, provided recipients with protection from deportation for two years, which could be renewed, and allowed them to work(Alvarez, 3). I think that Trump is scared of undocumented people and what they could become. If they are continued allowance in the U.S. Immigration Services and U.S. Citizenship gave work to thousands of undocumented immigrants giving them the ability to work, to make something of themselves. The executive branch has legal authority to implement DACA. More than 100 law professors signed a letter…

Henry Payne's cartoon "For Illegal Immigrants by Illegal Immigrants" shows us the Irony of Donald Trump wanting to build a Wall/ Fence, to keep illegal immigrants out of the united states. Payne's cartoon is ironic because Trump wants to get rid of immigrants but yet immigrants are the ones that do the dirty jobs other legal people don’t want to do. Trump wants illegal immigrants to build the very wall that will keep the out of a country that offers liberty and many opportunities for all kinds of people. Payne’s cartoon has bias against the fact that Donald Trump Wants to build a wall to keep immigrants out of the United States. Payne’s cartoon will help my paper because it tells people that are in favor of the wall being built that without…

Donald Trump is the Republican choice and holds views which beforehand were only used as internet jokes, which has led many to initial think he was a joke run for president before he realised he could actually win. He believes that a wall should be built on the Mexican border to prevent people from crossing over without earning a USA citizenship, and also thinks that Muslims should not be allowed into the country in case they are terrorists. Some however think that by “build a wall” actually means he will just increase security, among these are Collan H. who says “Many say that Trump is actually going to build a wall, but he won't.” Many criticize him by saying that he will be persecuting Muslims and that his plan of having a special Muslim…

¨Life is limitless and dreamers of Mexico cross the border they can't be denied the entry to America to find a bright future”. This statement shows that a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico will not help anything just cause more problems and harm millions of people. If a wall is built it will most likely won't solve anything to prevent Mexicans or other immigrants coming to America. Additionally, the wall does not keep out terrorist or drug smugglers. Also, a border wall between the U.S and Mexico can´t protect American jobs or reduce crime. Instead, it will waste resources like public takes and the money to pay the guard to watch the fence. It will also be take an enormous amount of money to build the wall and to surveillance it.…

Trump thinks these ridiculous things are what’s right for our country, but it goes against everything that our country stands for. He wants to keep people out who are contributing to our country’s growth, while Hillary on the other hand wanted to do the opposite. She wanted to introduce a plan that gives immigrants coming into the United states a a easy and quick pathway to citizenship. According to her website, she has states that, “As president, she will work to fix our broken immigration system and stay true to our fundamental American values: that we are a nation of immigrants, and we treat those who come to our country with dignity and respect—and that we embrace immigrants, not denigrate them.” (Clinton 3) She was so determined to do this, that she vowed to make it happen within her first 100 days in office. Clinton has stated many times whether it was on her website, in an interview, or on live tv that she does NOT want to tear families apart. What she wanted was to bring in millions of hardworking people to strengthen our…

Some of the candidates think that there is an issue with immigration today which can only be solved by putting an immediate stop to illegal immigration and drastically reducing the number of legal immigrants allowed in the country. However I believe this would only create more problems for the United States. Many people claim that immigrants are stealing the jobs of hardworking Americans, but I disagree. If we forcibly removed all of the illegal immigrants from our country, not only would that cause a sizable international dilemma, but we would lose a large portion of the blue collar labor force. The fact of the matter is that immigrants do jobs that Americans feel they are too good for. By removing immigrants, we would only create a gap in the labor force because Americans buy-in-large feel entitled to well paid white collar jobs. In my opinion, Trump can talk about removing the Muslims and building his wall, but that would only create more problems for the United States as a whole. Immigrants play a large role in the labor force of this country and have since the Gilded…

Citizens and other people against this could possibly think that Trump is targeting certain countries related to terrorist groups and local cultures that are “most likely to do something bad”. He most likely feels that this is the best move for the U.S and that something in the areas with the proposed ban is worth doing so. Typically, a president wouldn’t spend time and money to keep people out of this wonderful country. Both separate executive orders are the issue at hand in the headlines, but it is what we plan to do next that will help this…

Where I think Trump falls flat, though, is his lack of a concrete plan to ensure all criminal illegals are found and removed from the country. The United States has seen a number of culturally diverse immigrants arrive by different means. As can be noted from the recent presidential candidate campaigns, Donald Trump has proposed mass deportation of illegal immigrants. Mass deportation would be illogical due to the inevitable separation of families, cultural strain in our society, and the detrimental effects it would have in our economy.…
