In chapter four the issue of whether or not morality is dependant upon religion is analysed with respect to many different religious theories regarding morality. The chapter begins by acknowledging that there is a presumed connection between morality and religion. In the case of Judge Roy Moore, an advocate for religion and morality correlational relationship, he asserted that God’s law was as prevalent as the state’s law in his courtroom. Moore was sued multiple times for violating the separation of church and state but each time the people overwhelmingly supported his actions. As a resident of Alabama, Moore had the luxury of a conservative christian voter majority to place him back in power each time he was relieved of his office. With 92% of Americans claiming that they believe in God Moore is not in the minority in his belief that religion is a central part of religion however, there are many issues with the claim that what is moral is religious or Godly.…
Some who call themselves “evangelicals” argue that since the New Testament does not directly address the matter, we should not be dogmatic about it. They say that it is a “difficult moral issue,” where we need to allow room to differ and not impose our personal views on others. Many evangelical pastors refrain from speaking on the subject because it is controversial and potentially divisive. And many pastors dodge it because they have drifted from the Bible as the source of absolute moral truth.…

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. There is no saying where they should be separated nor treated differently, and all of that ended because of the civil rights act of 1964.…
Religion gives people motivation when they are feeling lost; it gives people hope during tough times and gives them strength when they most need it. A rising issue has called for the attention of many: effects on brain development caused by religion. According to a study done by Amy Owen and her colleagues at Duke University, “individuals in the religious minority, or those who struggle with their beliefs, experience higher levels of stress.” This can cause stress hormones that are known to depress the volume of the hippocampus over time. The hippocampus is the central structure of the limbic system that is involved with emotion and memory formation (Newberg, 20ll). How is this affecting our society? Religious radicalism has become a new trend; an increase of terrorist attacks has our people in utter fear. We…
Morality is a concept that can be scrutinized objectively or subjectively, as for a Christian the application of God’s laws regarding a person’s private and public behavior is paramount. Over the years, religion has helped reinforce moral behavior among people. Throughout centuries these rules have been proclaimed by God’s prophets, such as Moses, Isaiah, and taught by Jesus. The notion of humility, honesty, and respect all stem from the Christian faith. Most of the premises for morality were introduced by Christianity into a societies to which they were completely foreign.…
John Adams said it best when he said “we have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion . . . Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." The following paper will discuss the role of religion, morality and worldview on the creation of public policy. The creation of public policy is essential to the success of one’s government.…

A universal moral code would mean that everyone would be equal by having the same rights. As the Bible states, “Love your neighbour as yourself”. This golden rule shows that equality is encouraged in the Christian religion just like all others. “No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself”. The Qur’an and the Hadith in the Islamic religion also encourage equality. Equality is having the same rights for everyone regardless of their name, age, religion, status or race. Having equality usually discourages hatred, conflicts, violence and wars. Also, all religions already believe in basic moral rules such as equality so having a universal moral code only reinforces religious moral codes.…
That being said, religions can have a very influential factor in the creation and passing of morality to the next generation; but this is simply because a religion is simply a social grouping. Any social group, ranging from families to secular communities to workplaces can and do have influence on morality.…
Ever since the beginning of creation, God made man and woman to reproduce and create humanity. God never in between allowed or said that same sex marriage was permissible or was the natural way to create a generation. For example in Genesis chapter 19 the story of Sodom and Gomorrah explained the wickedness of the city that mainly strived from homosexuality. Genesis 19:5- And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? Bring them out unto us that we may know them. The city 's perverseness made God infuriated and led to the destruction of that city turning it into fire and brimstone. This gives evidence that homosexuality is a religious sin, which is analogous to many other Biblical prohibitions, like committing adultery which transgresses ethics.…
God is very pro-sex. God created all his created so the greatest percent of it requires both male and female to reproduce. Also that in Genesis he created both of animal and humans alike, he created one male and one female and we clear see that God program most 95%++ to have many sex partners over a lifetime per God’s build in program. Everywhere we look at God design and God’s creation we see most all having many sex partners per God design, this also clearly show human were designed to have many sex partners each. God is very pro-many sex partners each with no shame and no guilt.…
