Derek Yupik Narrative
Derek is a fourteen year old boy starting his eighth grade year at St. Pius x school. Derek transferred schools this year because everyone was overbearing him and he didn't like everyone doing that to him...plus his grades were shiftless. So now we're here with him on his first day with his new classmates. When he walked in he noticed everyone looking at him. Someone people were excited to see the new student but then their was kids with quirky look on their faces. He said to himself “this is a little outlandish.” Their was this one student that was looking at him, her name was Kate. When Derek notice she was looking him he thought something is wrong. “Is something wrong” Derek said, But she looked at him with judicious look on her face smiling at him. At lunch Derek sat by himself and acted good about his milieu. …show more content…
She started walking over there and Derek say her, he thought to himself Yupik have too conventional the idea that there's something wrong with him, when say something. He saw a thin piece of wire. In an instant he knew that's a decoy for her to fall and hurt herself so he ran over there and saved her from falling she asked “what are you doing?” He explains.
