My Greatest Nature Concern Is Global Deforestation

Deforestation is a big issue worldwide that people do not put attention to, but it will be a future concern for humanity. For example, we the people are destroying forests, rain and tropical forests, jungles, mountains, and grasslands by cutting down lots of trees for personal use. Of course, we used the trees to build houses, buildings, farms, etc, and for some other different types of useful things, but we are not measuring the consequences. We can do more about this issue and can try to use other resources that will not affect the forests or other types of land. Different types of issues that affect nature are the farmers, population growth, and humanity including myself, but best thing of all what we can do to protect it for our future. An issue about deforestation would be that people just cut down the tree and they are not planting more trees than they cut down. The forests itself, often recover themselves, but not in the direction or as quickly as we might prefer. For the trees it is hard to stay alive because humanity has to use them in order to survive. For example, farmers cut them down to have more space for planting more crop to provide for their family, this is without counting other dangers like wild fires and the animals itself and the biggest one of them all is driver of deforestation is agriculture. The trees are needed for us to breathe without trees; there is no life because there would be no air. We know how useful they can be too, but the population is also affecting with deforestation just as well as technology. As the population grows non-stopping we are constructing more and more housings. Of course, it helps because it gives people jobs to work in, but I think we are not measuring the consequences. The natural resources can go down as well as anything I the world. We should encourage people to help plants trees.
When I used to live in Mexico, I often went to the mountains to cut

when you cut the tree's down that gets rid of the water held by the tree. that means less and less water will run down the rivers lakes, people animals and plants will suffer if the deforestation does'nt stop now.If you still don't think that none of this matters then lets put it like this. If they do not stop deforestation then the water cycle will be broken and that means that the water percentage will go down less and less each year. Then little by little the water will run less in the rivers and lakes. That being said one day we will have no water percentage in the earth and whats gonna happen then once all the resources are gone and then one by one we will go down in population so what happens then we all die out.…

The main idea of the article is the affect of deforestation on the environment, wildlife and climate change. Deforestation results in soil deterioration. Forests store nutrients that are required for all plant life. Without trees to fill these roles, many forest’s lands can quickly become barren deserts. Deforestation also impacts the habitat for million species. Majority of Earth’s land animals and plants live in forests, and many cannot survive the deforestation that destroys their homes. Deforestation also drives climate change. Forest soils are moist, but without protection from sun-blocking tree cover they quickly dry out. Trees also help conserve the water cycle by returning water vapor back into the atmosphere. Trees remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through photosynthesis. Cutting down forests will cause a decline in photosynthetic activity which results in the…

It is said, that forests cover 31% of the land area on our planet (WWF). Reducing the number of trees and the surface area of a forest is called deforestation. Deforestation is one of the biggest problems in today’s economic system. There may be a lot of positives behind the idea of cutting down trees; however they are all outnumbered by the negatives. If one is not careful with the removal of a forest, it may lead to more deserted areas.…

But deforestation has a negative impact on the environment, and the loss of habitat for millions of species is a very dramatic one. According to the World Wildlife Fund Organization, forests are home to 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity, and the majority of these species cannot survive the destruction of their homes. Linda Maree emphasizes this concern in her “Hiking the Fakahatchee Strand” essay from the Wildbranch anthology, “Once all the harvestable trees were cut, the timber companies took their saws and rail lines elsewhere, leaving bruised and ailing ecosystem behind” (58). Conservation is the preservation of natural resources through the implementation of control and care. It is up to us to maintain a favorable balance or balance…

“In less than one hundred years over half of the forest has now been cut and burned, leaving whole areas of the earth bare and unprotected, rendering entire regions lifeless. Over fifty million acres of tropical rain forest are destroyed every year, enough trees to fill all of England and Scotland combined,” stated Cedar.int. Forests have many beneficial qualities that are essential to human life, and each and every day humans are participating in deforestation. Some of the important contributions of forests are the production of oxygen, reduction of global warming, and providing wildlife habitats. Those contributions are only a fraction of why we need to conserve the forests of the world.…

It is important to recognize the detrimental effects that come with deforestation; extinction of specialized species, loss of biodiversity, soil erosion, loss of habitat, and climate change are all serious matters that can no longer be thrown under the rug. Although the timber industry relies on trees, they should not be seen solely as a profit-making dollar sign. In reality, the Amazon contains so much more than just money.…

There are many environmental issues that need to be taken care of as soon as possible. One issue would have to be deforestation. For years we as humans have depended on trees as a resource to our everyday life. We have built homes, paper, and many other products from this precious resource. If the forest provided us with low cost homes and so many good resources, why is it an ethical issue or problem? “ This is a problem because deforestation destroys not only forests but also reduces the biodiversity, which means a reduction in the amount, as well as variation of, living things which can cause havoc…

Deforestation is an issue we need to fix. I would like to spend 100,000 dollars on deforestation because some of the trees that are being cut down are thousands of years old. “Any fool can destroy trees”(John Muir, “The American Forests,” Atlantic Monthly, August, 1897) Above all this, one fact remains the same, we need trees to live. If we destroy all the trees in the world, we are left with harsh living conditions for ourselves. Our forests should be preserved if we want a better nation.…

    Rainforest Destruction

The rainforests of the world all have one thing in common: they are all based around the equator and the tropics. Without them, many of our household products such as wooden furniture and basic necessities like coal and even air would not exist. We are losing all of our raw materials up just as we are beginning to appreciate their true value. Rainforests once covered 14% of the earth's land surface; now they cover a mere 6% and scientists estimate that the last remaining rainforests could be drained in less than 40 years. One and a half acres of rainforest are being destroyed every second because the value of rainforest land is so high due to the value of its timber by short-sighted governments, multi-national logging companies, and land owners. Because of our greedy nature, we destroy 137 plant, animal and insect species every single day. If you don’t want to be part of this “we”, and feel you show some kind of response to the life threatening process of deforestation, read on.…

The world’s forest play an important role such as regulating climates and provide habitat for many species on earth. The global rate of forest destruction have incresed since 1980’s and the World Resources Institute estimated that deforestation is averaged 16.9 million hectares annually and if this continue, there would be no forests remaining by some time between the years 2040 and 2060. If the green natural resources is destroyed, we will face many serious consequences such as global warming, disaster or even extinction.…
