Freedom
What is freedom? To me freedom is the ability to do and think as you please but only to a certain extent.? We have certain barriers in place for our own safety as individuals or as a nation itself. The fact that we have freedom is a gift itself we can have certain ability?s to freely choose paths in life.? In the article ?Learned Hands I am an American Day Address? it states that we seek liberty and freedom from oppression, want and freedom from ourselves thus furthermore making our desire more intense.

A great example of not having freedom would be slavery. We lived in poverty and had slaves in the 1800s. Then to now freedom has came along way and now every is equal. At least that's what we think we have said everyone gets these freedoms like the way you dress and the way you look the color of your hair or skin. We have cruel people in our society and many people find it hard to feel free when everyone is beating down on them. We have become a judgmental like the country has ?set standards that are not written in laws or in the courts and it is among the

December, that year, was more than cold and bitter, it was deadly, and the soldiers all knew it the minute they saw the meager food and medicine supplies they were given. On top of that, the soldiers decision to stay and re-enlist or to go home was drawing near, so they had to make the decision, would they stay, or would they go? In December of 1778, George Washington and his troops built the camp of Valley Forge (18 miles away from Philadelphia) in order to stay on the tails of the British troops stationed in the town of Philadelphia (a place where many even rooted for the British). Unfortunately, this winter would soon prove to be long, hard, and fatal. So, would you have re-enlisted in the American Army if you were a U.S. Soldier? I would have re-enlisted in the Continental Army because,…

Freedom is defined as the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement. It is the power to determine action without restraint and the exemption from external control, interference, and regulation. Americans, these days, commonly regard their society as the freest and the best in the world.
