Hyderabad the capital of Andhra Pradesh is a beautiful place with a rich and diverse culture. Hyderabad emerged with the Qutub Shahi dynasty, later the Mughal emperor Aurangazeeb was attracted to this city .When this empire fell the Nizam of Asaf Jah dynasty reigned successfully and it became a part of the Indian Union. It is also called the city of Nawabs.
Hyderabad is a unique city which practices all religions like Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, Zoroastrianism and Jainism. Eid, diwali, ugadi and christmas are all celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm. Telugu and Urdu are the two main languages spoken in Hyderabad.
The common dress among women is mostly the saree or Salwar Kameez and men often wear sherwanis. Hyderabadi cuisine is very famous in India, especially the Hyderabadi Biriyani is one of the most delectable and delicious food people enjoy.
Hyderabad is famous for its monuments and ancient architectural structures. The Charminar is one of famous tourist attractions. The Mecca Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India which can accommodate almost 10,000 people. Golconda fort is a beautiful fort which has lot of historic importance. The famous Kohinoor diamond originally belonged to the Golconda. The other places of attraction are the Safarjung museum and the Hussain Sagar Lake which connects the twin cities Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
Hyderabad is an ideal place for shopaholics. This city is also called the city of pearls. The famous pearl bazaar and the Lad Bazaar attract lot of tourists. Apart from these wide collection and selection of dress materials and sarees are available.
Hyderabad is an IT hub and center for science and technology development. All the cultural values of this city make this place a famous metropolitan city in India.

    Ahmedabad (Amdavad) is the capital of Gujarat and is one of the most important cities in Western India located on the banks of river Sabarmati, 32 km from the state capital of Gujarat. The city was under Bombay Presidency during British rule, now it is in Gujarat state. The city has interesting history. King Karandev – 1, the Solanki Ruler, had waged a war against the Bhil king of Ashapall or Ashaval. After his victory Karandev established the city called "Karnavati". This Hindu kingdom of Karnavati retained its importance till early 15th century when Gujarat fell to the Muslim Sultanate. This was when Sultan Ahmad Shah conquered Karnavati in 1411 A.D. Ahmedabad was built in an open and spacious plain in the immediate vicinity of Ashaval to the east of Sabarmati. It then comprised a smaller town now known as the Bhadra Fort or the citadel of Bhadra. The city was enclosed by a fort wall six miles in the circumference containing 12 gates, 189 bastions and over 6000 battlements in 1487 by Mohammed Begdo, the grandson of Ahmed shah, to protect it from outside invaders. It was in 1818 when the British took over the administration of Ahmedabad. After a lapse of another century, destiny chose Ahmedabad to play an outstanding role in the country's struggle for freedom under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi who stated in the city of his return from South Africa in 1915 and established his famous Ashram on the banks of Sabarmati.…
