Critical Thinking is the ability to think for yourself and to reliably and responsibly make decisions that affect your life.A good critical thinker has many important characteristics, for example they find different ways to express their imagination and curiosity,they practice on asking questions,challenge their own and others assumptions that are not supported with evidence,make sure that during class lectures,presentations or any discussions practice thinking about the multiple points of view of every subject,drw their own conclusion,explain to others the evidence they found that leads you to their position,tend to join study groups and work as a team member,learn to identify false claims,and don't just apply critical thinking in their academic work but into their everyday interactions with family of friends.

When someone becomes a critical thinker their task is to determine which of the so called”truths” they read or hear are the most possible.Critical thinking improves the way you think about a subject, statement, or idea.Critical thinkers tend to be fair and open minded even if they aren't 100% sure with certain ideas.A critical Thinker has a certain attitude of wanting to avoid nonsense,to find truth and to discover the best action.Many aim to be logical but make common mistakes by: attacking the person,begging, appealing to false authority, assuming that something is true because it hasn't been proven false,falling into the victim to false causes, and making hasty generalizations.

Critical thinking is considered important in the academic fields such as liberal college because it enables one to analyze, evaluate, explain, and restructure their thinking, thereby decreasing the risk of adopting, acting on, or thinking with, a false belief. However, even with knowledge of the methods of logical inquiry and reasoning, mistakes can happen due to a thinker's inability to apply the methods.
