Creative Writing: Kane County Fair
Think before you act
Think before you act, I wish I had know that before the kane county fair in 2015. It
was around the end of my fourth grade summer when me and my friend Deja we're
going to go to the kane county fair. I thought we were going to have so much fun until my
Mom said I had to hang out with my little sister Kayla. Me and her did not ever get along
together. We hated each other. Right before deja walked in I was telling my mom how
the summer has been going by as fast as a blink of an eye and how I was not ready to
go back to bower in 2 weeks. “Hey, what's up?” Deja asked. “Nothing much, you?” I
asked. “Same.” Deja laughed.
When we got there the first thing my sister wanted to go on was a really spiny

When we were on the ride I
had my hands up and was cheering the whole time when my sister kayla was screaming
and held on to the bar tightly and Deja just laughed.
The next ride we were going to go on was only two to a seat so my sister had to
watch us with my mom. The line was long so me and deja started talking. “Maybe
I can get my mom to let me sleep over tonight.” Deja said excitedly. “That would
be great.” I agreed. Then it was are turn on the ride I was excited for this ride when we
got on we buckled up And prepared for the ride. The ride started with a jerk and then ran
smoothly. Deja put Her hands up and when I saw her hands up I put mine up too. A
couple of seconds later deja put hers on the bar with a tight grip and I keep mine up. All
of a sudden the ride came to a jerky stop and my head flew forward and hit the medal
bar. Right after the ride stopped, I came running out crying. Deja stayed on the
ride as it started to go backwards. My mom said I had chipped my front two teeth. I was
freaking out.
Later that day I went to the dentist and got a fake tooth material glued to the tips of
my two front teeth. The dentists told me that I could never bite into an apple
