Cooking Personal Statement
“I guess I fell into cooking,” Bobby Flay once said and I can now say the same as I have finally overcome the basics of cooking. From a juvenile age, I was interested in cooking; always wondering what it’s like to cook and how I would feel knowing others are consuming my food. The night came that I finally became knowledgeable on how to cook, and how astonishing it felt to make others buoyant, even if the nourishment I made was packaged mac and cheese. That night consistently comes back to me as the night I decided to continue on learning how to cook meals or bake desserts, along with pursuing an ambitious goal of learning more than just the basics of cooking. With this in mind, remember that no goal is too hard to accomplish, no question is too hard to answer, and any move towards prosperity is better than doing nothing. My belief is that going to school is as relevant as having quality time with family, but education aids me with the goal of getting a college degree in the subject I want to pursue. I believe that that best way to secure the career that will make someone or myself happy is to have the suitable education. Along the way, I will work part-time in a little cafe, where I will be able to get some waitressing experience. Most nights I will be studying for my classes and pursuing to know other people as well. For holidays I will be coming back to Kauai, Kekaha to visit my family and my friends. I will not let anything get in the way of my schoolwork unless it is significant. My education could possibly change me for the better and I will be able to pass on my knowledge to others around

Education is the most important part of my life. Couple reasons why I attend college it’s to better myself, get a higher paying job and get away from home. First, not going to college was not an option for me; furthermore, both of my parents attended college and graduated college and they have the jobs they always wanted. They always encouraged me to get a higher education and I agree. When I see people that struggle with finances because they didn’t go to college; certainly, it made me want to go and get my bachelor’s degree even faster. Second, I do not want to live my life, paycheck to paycheck, and worrying about whether or not I am going to have enough money to pay to keep a roof over my head. The reason for going to college is that I want to have a better life. Finally, college is vital to how far you can go. If I would settle only for a High school diploma or less, I would not go as far as I want to go; I will keep hopping from one dead-end job to another; for instance, my friend who have worked everywhere and is never happy because of the hard work she has to do and little money she gets. I would want to be more as a college graduate who is at home relaxing in my huge house, watching my sixty-four inch Plasma TV in High Definition. I believe that college will lead me to a life of fulfillment and realized dreams. No one ever regretted going to college, I wish I could say the same for the person who…

The importance of education was driven into me and my other siblings, by our parents. One day after arriving home from high school, my younger sister, Rosie told me, "Sis, we need a school here for the gifted." We did not give the idea much thought than, but later on it became more of a serious discussion.…
