Coniunctio State Research Paper

Most people, whether it is just out of curiosity or a real interest, are fascinated with the idea of being able to read other people’s mind. Whether it is being able to tell whether or not the person you like likes you back or reading your friends’ minds. With this idea in mind, I began to write my factional dystopian world called the Coniunctio State (Union State). In this society, the government has taken advantage of new developing technologies that will allow them to read the minds of their people. They use different methods of psychology such as conditioning to try to control the brain. The thought of being able to manipulate the brain is captivating.

I had the basis of the circumstances of the Coniunctio State, but to help my idea mature,
When the current world has been destroyed and left in pieces, there is a need to build a new society. There is not any major differences in this new world. The citizens still have their natural, unalienable rights to religion, freedom, speech, etc. What is important is not what the government expresses on the surface, but their actions underneath. The government has a full record of every person in their database, this includes health records, media accounts, and credit records. From birth, they have inserted a chip in to the brain of every infant that allows them to access everything in their past and memory. The world privacy is not even in the dictionary anymore because it does not exist. Everyone has been conditioned to think that the way the central government operates is right. The government supervises the development of everybody’s brain. The average or normal IQ in the world is defined as 90. If anyone were to go above 120, they would be executed because they are seen as a threat to civilization. An IQ of 120 is considered dangerous because the authorities are afraid that they will see everything that is corrupt with the current society and take action
