Conflict Theory In 'Switched At Birth'

The first show is, Switched at Birth which demonstrates conflict theory. In the pilot episode Bay Kennish is in school where they are determining their blood types and she determines that her blood type is type AB. When Bay returns home, her father, John, insists that it is impossible for her to have such since both him and her mother, Kathryn, are both type A. beginning to become curious as to why her blood type is impossible to have and she looks nothing like the rest of her family, the Kennish’s go through with a DNA test to see what is going on. This is when it is confirmed that Bay and Daphne Vasquez were switched at birth. As expected, this comes as a shock to both families and it results in the Vasquez family moving into the guest house
