Conflict In Beowulf

Beowulf Essay throughout the epic poem of Beowulf there were many conflicts from different character making life changing decisions and telling the mood of each character given you a better understanding of the poem. Beowulf starts off conflicts by entering the hall and scaring the town’s people. The town’s person goes to find a great warrior to defeat Grendel and they find Beowulf. Beowulf defeat Grendel leading to a new conflict with Grendel’s mother, Beowulf then finds out the Geats wouldn’t help him but he still defeats Grendel mother but he has been defeated also making the Geats fill sorry for not helping and they make him a statue for all he has done.
Grendel terrorizes the town’s people by entering the hall they rejoice in. The speaker reveals, “Then/when darkness dropped/Grendel went up to Herot/ wondering what the warriors would do in that hall when their drinking was done” (30-32). Grenades mother says, “He was weary/that best and strongest of soldiers” (Line515-516). Then when she was done with what she was saying Grendel’s find a sword to defeat Grendel’s mother and slayed Grendel mother but not only the monster has been defeated but Beowulf has be defeated to and is slowly
