Computer forensics is the branch of forensic science dedicated to evince the dissembled secrets in computers confiscated from criminals. Usually hackers are described as nefarious criminals, but the people dedicated to computer forensics are usually good hackers that work for the police. Therefore, the term hacker is decried but as is shown there are many that work for the good.
The goal in this job is to exhume and preserve the murky secrets that are hidden in diverse parts of the different seized devices.
