Compstat Strengths And Weaknesses
I will evaluate the two strength and weakness of compstat. One strength of compstat is the organization commander is being evaluated. This is good because this shows whether or not the head is making good decisions for the organization (Gomez-Mejia, Balkin, & Cardy, 2012).
Another strength is compstat has become a business management tool. This tool help keep track of overtime, citizens complaints, and building maintenance (Gomez-Mejia, Balkin, & Cardy, 2012).
One weakness of compstat is that it holds the commander of the organization responsible for crime in his area. I do not think this is right since a number of things contribute to crime in that area. Sometime it happen because of it being a poverty stricken neighborhood. I think if the
