Up until 1942, all the Europeans believed that the world was flat and resisted to accept Christopher's hypothesis that the world is round. When Columbus wanted to sail west and prove his theory, the queen tried to stop him and convince him that his theory contradicts the scientific rules. However, Columbus didn't give in to the scientific rules and let himself be guided by his imagination and inspiration. Consequently, Columbus arranged a ship that sailed to the west until he finally reached America. In conclusion, Columbus had fantasies a theory that lead him to one of the most influential discoveries in history.
