Compare And Contrast The Diary Of Anne Frank
In "The Diary of Anne Frank " from The Elements of Literature written by Holt Rinehart and Winston much more information is shown. The Diary is better because there is much more interaction. There's more Insight into the characters lives. We get more information about the annex. Many more conflicts are shown. While a tragedy revealed lacks this content.

In the play, we get to meet characters and they are described to us. For example, Anne is described to us and she is a young girl with brown hair who wants to be beautiful. We also meet Mr. Otto Frank who is smart, has leadership and loves his family. We also see some conflict between Anne and her mother. Anne states at one point in the play " I love you Pim, not her" (Goodrich and Hackett

In the play, the thief came during Hanukah and heard the families up above by Peter’s terrible mistake of dropping the lamp. Then after, the thief fled leaving the door gaping wide open. In the movie, this scene occurs quite differently. In the movie, the thief was able to hear the families by Mouschi, the cat.
