Compare And Contrast Borruto By Masashimoto
Over the summer I read “Boruto” by Masashi Kishimoto. This book is a graphic novel about a kid named Boruto trying to become a Shinobi. But his dad is the hokage (the best shinobi in the village) and he really wants his dad to pay attention to him. He takes the chunin exams so his dad can pay attention to him, and then he cheats during the exam. Then, many more things go wrong. The book I read for the first quarter was “Overlord” by Kugane Maruyama . It was also a graphic novel. It was about a once popular online game, YGGDRASIL that is set to shut down. However, Momonga, Guild Leader of Ainz Ooal Gown, decides to stay and not log out while his friend Herohero has to logout and bids farewell to him. Then,. he realizes he is still on and the staff is ‘alive’. Then he goes out to save a town and meets a staff member. Momonga gives him a very powerful ring, then saves the town. Both books are the same in many different ways. When they both fight battles they win them. Both characters are head strong and determined people when they are fighting for what is right. The characters change a lot throughout the story. Also, they have loved ones that they will do anything to protect. These similarities exist because it will teach other people that …show more content…
In Bruto it takes place in The Village Hidden in the Leaves, he wants his dad to pay more attention to him and his family, and lastly, he was winning his battles by using a banned ninja tool. Overlord takes place in a videogame called Yggdrasil, he is a king that fights battles that need to be fought and does not cheat. Both characters changed. Boruto was lazy and did not listen. Then he ended up determined and worked together. Momonga was all about himself and was selfish. Then he became selfless and went to fix his wrong doings. These differences exist because it makes the character unique and then you can get more attached to them and relate to

Ender’s Game Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card is about a boy named Andrew Wiggin, nicknamed Ender, a genius child who does the wrong things for the right reasons. The two characters are similar in ways with the same perspectives and are in the same historical event. Farewell to Manzanar, by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston and James D. Houston, and The Bracelet by Yoshiko Uchida is about the characters being Japanese, to concentration camps. Due to the fact that they’re in a war between the United States and Japan. The two characters are similar in ways when they both have had their fathers sent to all-male camps or in a prisoner-of-war camp, and both are living in similar house-styles.…

These similarities provided character development, which led to important events, and obstacles Ender faced. Some of the most important similarities are the removal of Ender’s monitor and him beating up Stilson after, Ender playing the mind games, Mazer Rackham mentoring him, and Valentine trying to convince Ender to go back to space and finish his training. The most important similarity was Ender discovering the last bugger pupa and trying to find a planet where he can put it so the buggers can peacefully colonize again. All of these made the book and movie all that much better, because they all had profound impacts on the…

The second similarity of these two books are their strong character values. The characters in both of these believe in a certain thing and are willing to put themselves in danger to support their views. An example of this would be how Jem reacts to the jury’s conclusion. He becomes angry and believes it is completely unfair. This happens in World War Z when the family of three is moving north…

So as a result of their misfortune and mistreatment, pursue the act of revenge on their creator, and in doing this directly or indirectly case the suffering of other characters. The main characters are parallels to each other. For example, when Melinda and Cady start out in in highschool, they enter having no ideas what to expect. “My first class is biology. I can’t find it and I get my first demerit.” (Anderson 6). In the Mean Girls movie, Cady asked where her health class was and her friends made her miss her entire class. Another example is how they favourite one class and excel in it. For Cady shes so good at math that in Junior year, she takes senior AP trig. Melinda also favours art “Art follows lunch like a dream follows a nightmare.” (9). One final similarity is that they enter high school with no friends. On the first day of school, Cady gets denied seats in her first class because people didn’t want her to sit near them. When Melinda goes to school on the first day of school she has a hard time finding a seat on the bleachers because all of her friends abandoned her “I am an outcast. There is no point looking for my ex-friends.” (4).…

A great example of the similarities these two epics share deal with relationships. In the epic saga of Starwars Obi-wan Kenobi previously knew Darth Vadar from training him to be a jedi. These two old friends end up believing differently about each other, and their thoughts, as Darth Vadar begins to give into the "dark side". The "dark side" is using the force to manipulate others in a harmful way. A similar relationship is shown in Beowulf as Hrothgar once sheltered Beowulf's father.…

Similar does not always mean the same. Like husbands or chocolate many things may start off as similar, but are represented differently. Just like sisters who derive from the same parents, they may look the same and represent the same genetic code but have different characteristics. In like manner, writers use similar techniques but in divergent ways using unique characters to represent similar ideas. Correspondingly, in the short stories Arena by Frederic Brown and Through Thy Bounty by Lucy A. Snyder; both writers use the same elements of Dystopia and manage to emphasize the same aspects of humanity through different characters.…
