Commoners In A Knight's Tale

In the movie A Knight’s Tale, William, a commoner wants to joust, but he can not because he is supposed to be noble to compete. William always wanted to compete in jousting since he was a little kid. Commoners were not allowed to watch the action, but they could see the jousters enter the stadium. When William was a kid his father dropped him off at a stable, and his dad was going to make William to a Yeomen. William instead wanted to make a better life and follow his feet.. In the A Knight’s Tale, William and his father were both commoners. Life as commoner was toh. They worked hard everyday in the: hot sun, raining day, and during the winter. As they worked hard; they barely ate during those tough times. Commoners were similar to peasants
