In the book I was reading their were these two characters named Tito and Gus. Tito and gus were best friends since kindergardon. Gus was really funny and had alot of street smarts. In one part of the after Titos brother got shot Tito came home after school and gus followed him when tito went inside their was gang tagging all over the walls and someone was in his house. So tito went and hid under his bed. Then someone pulled him out and draged him outside and stuck his face in the dirt. When he was let up it was gus. Gus said are you crazy they want you dead. Towards the end of the book gus started to turn to gang banging and taging gang signs on the walls. At the end of the book Titos dog disappered and

This book is about a girl and a boy who live very different lives but eventually come together. The boy’s name is Day and the girl’s name is June. Day is a wanted criminal for the things he has done to the government and he also killed June’s brother. June joins the military and becomes highly ranked quickly soon after her brother’s death.
