Comic Books American Mythology
The Smithsonian has copies of comic books from as far back as mythology. Michael Uslan describes these books as the history of American pop culture. Discussing how comic books are linked to the ancient gods and mythology. For example the Greeks considered the god Hermes, the romans called him mercury, we present day we consider him Flash. There is a direct link from superheroes to the basic tenants of mythology. Comics have always been a favorite format to read, looking at each of them we fight the demons and dragons of their day. Overall, our history has been taken creatively and based into comics for us to enjoy.
