College Should Be Free: Why Should College Be Free?

Should College be Free What if college was free? There are so many people that want to go to college. But in this case, some people are not able to go because they can’t afford it. Even though some citizens get so much aid from the government, with all the stuff they give us. Free college is something we don’t need, because if we do get it then there would be alot of stuff that would get out of place “College scholarships are gifts of money that helps students pay for education, and there are so many types of scholarships that would help you out”According to (Dziak, 2016). So, with all the types there are the government is basically paying for alt of it, and letting you pay for the other parts . “ Many students cannot afford to pay this high price. These people may decide to look to financial aid” (Dziak, 2016) was another thing he said. With so many scholarships, college should not be free. With all the taxes american taxpayers already
“ Congress sets federal loan rates each spring off the 10 years. Student loans are typically higher than those of 3o year fixed rate mortgages” Which was said by (Rosato, 2016). The government is able to put how much money they get back in student loans, so they will constantly have money flowing around to get the stuff that the U.S. needs. If college was free the government would stop making money from that aspect, so if the U.S. needed to go to war from some reason we would need to buy stuff and that costs money. The final reason college should not be free is, because some high schoolers are not ready for college. “Changes in relationships between earnings and the measures the account for about two-thirds of the rise” stated by (American Economic, 2014). Some people want to change they major, because want to make more money. Even if college was free some students would not be ready with the major they want, because they have not studied it and it would not work for them
