One of the greatest myths about education is that a student's success lies in the hands of their professor. Hunter Rawlings in College Is Not a Commodity, agrees “ Though I would like to think I made a real contribution to student learning, my role was not the sole or even determining factor in the value of those courses to my students.” In conjunction with Hunter Rawlings quote, I concur education is not an open door, nor is a college in general. A great college with profound educators might be accessible, but it's the effort to open that door that defines what education truly is. Although education lies in the hands of its successor. While others view college as a commodity, motivated students are constructing their education, defining their education with determination, furthermore making it an opportunistic choice to follow.

First and foremost, motivated students are the attributes of their education, in view of the fact that students must work for the education in order to receive it. Consider us students per se being on the edge of pass or fail

As stated above advancing to college may not be the final destination, but it's a step closer. Defining factors of education lie within the student's ability to allow themselves to become dedicated to their studies. Being motivated means you have a drive to learn, however, determination is the act of learning after you push. Hunter Rawlings suggested “The value of a degree depends more on the student’s input than on the college’s curriculum.” Moreover, this is true, but education itself is defined by the steps derived to achieve our enlightenment. Without effort learning would only be a dreadful experience. Since It's about the function of education in its entirety, it is only led by the choices constructed by students.
