For many high school students college can mean many different things, it could mean leaving home, getting out of a bad situation, a fresh start, or furthering their education. Now a days students and parents are questioning is college really worth it ? Many people have their own opinion on whether it is worth it or not. Going to college and getting a degree does not guarantee that that person is going to get a job right after graduation. It is hard out there for recent graduates to find a good job since there is so much competition due to the accessibility of a college education. Even if they do get a job, it is not usually not in what they got their degree for. They have to find some sort of job to pay off all the debt that their college education has given to them.
As the competition for getting a decent job increases many students will take whatever job they can get so they can pay of their large amount of debt.
