The Cold War and The Butter Battle Book are similar in people and events, and children should not be exposed to The Butter Battle Book because they are too young to know and understand what is really going on. For example, in The Cold War the United States was the main cause of the war. It was all caused because of the fear of communists taking over the world. The United States already knew that Communist wanted to take control of the world, and they knew that the Soviet Union was a communist country. Overall respect in our society is pretty much overrated and now most people don't really care about what their children are learning in school as long as they're passing and some don't even care if they pass or don't. Children now in days are exposed to pretty much everything whether it's something they should or shouldn't see at that point in their age. It is still important that children under the age of 10 tend to not read those kinds of books because of the violence that is shown, if people keep making books like this later on they will start giving them books showing the real images and the real things that happened in the Cold War. Now in days with all the violence that's going on in the world already affects the children because they see it and they think it is a good thing to do because things like school shootings or any kinds of shootings are ok to happen, so think about what your children are starting to learn in school, and help prevent things like this from
