Coach John Wooden's Pyramid Of Success
In general, my daily processes are part of an action plan defined in my comprehensive goal setting spreadsheet. This spreadsheet is at the heart of my training. As a self-taught athlete, I have to be very honest and self-critiquing and then back my analysis with my once a month training activity with my professional rock climbing instructor. My instructor supports my methods as the best for my present time available to dedicate to the sport. I have to rely on my past successes and setbacks in other areas of life plus my physical, mental, and spiritual strength as affirmations to propel me into the future.
I have abundant sources of affirmations in different categories that will be explained in my daily processes. My entire model facilitates the “inside-out” approach and sourced through timeless principles and values, character strength, relationships, and my ethical

This provides the foundation of my self-worth which culminates and drives self-leadership toward my self-identity. My self-identity is reinforced daily with affirmations that build mental toughness, achievement, strength, a can-do attitude, and peace. Strong statements of affirmations and awards and decorations on my wall further affirm my conscious and unconscious thoughts and behaviors. Coach John Wooden’s Pyramid of Success is over my computer reminding me of more timeless principles and values proven to be worthy of champions. An F-16 (painting over my desk) going pure vertical reminds me that I’m always growing upwards toward a high level each day. Under the pyramid is my highest decoration from the USAF. It’s the Distinguished Flying Cross for Valor. Charles Lindbergh received this same award for crossing the Atlantic and so did many other famous aviators; however, mine was for valor...for courage that I am not worthy of possessing, but was bestowed upon me by my self-worth to help
