Are you a part of the 61% of people that think country life is better? Or are you a part of the 39% of people that think city life is better? 61% of people say that country life is better than city life, while 39% say that city life is better. (Is Country Life Better than City Life?) Their reasons include, the healthier air in the country, because of the lesser amount of pollution. The freedom to build houses, grow gardens, own animals and own land. Also, in the country there is way less traffic and crime rates than in the city. Living in the city may have its advantages, but overall, living in the country is better for you and your health.

Although driving a car in the country releases some pollution, the trees will clean the air, unlike in the city, where if you walk, you have to breathe in the dirty, full of pollution air and if you drive, you release tons of pollution and there isn’t near enough trees to clean it all. Therefore, driving a car in the country is better for your health and the environment than walking, or driving a car in the city. (Country Living vs. City Living) The opposing side will argue about the lack of technology and internet out in the country. They will say that you don't have any opportunities in the country, this is all accurate to an extent, but in reality, there are opportunities. Living in the country will make you a stronger and more independent person. You won't have to rely on the internet to live, you don't have to rely on other people to live, and you don't have to rely on all the latest technology to live. You, in other words, learn to accept what you have and you embrace it. (City Life vs Country Life: An Unbiased

There is a way to live happier and healthier than at least 80 percent of people living in the United States alone today. The dilemma being faced is the option of country life and city life and which is the healthier option. This situation is an issue because people that are living in the city think the city is a healthier and better lifestyle with all their health precautions and closer distance to work or shopping. However, people living in the country think their way of life is good for health reasons. A concept has to be proven because both ideas may be the same, or it is possible that one idea out benefits the other. People living in the country are transcendentally healthier than those living in the city due to being away from the stressful…

There are many differences between living in the city or in a country setting, but the country setting has many more advantages over the city. The air and water quality and other environment factors are improved in the country setting. The school system is safer and less crowded in a rural setting. The roads are not loaded with traffic and taxis. The country is safer than the city and crime rates are lower. In the country, there is an abundance of trees and vegetation. In the country, there are parks and open spaces, and there is a variety of wildlife to observe. Although some of the reasons why one might choose to live in either place are left to personal preference, there are many factors based solely on facts.…

No one person has the same choice when it comes to a living situation. City lifestyle and country lifestyle are two very different types of living that satisfy the taste of many different people. The main differences are found in the environment, job opportunity, and cost of living. The difference of these can make or break the opinions of many but ultimately it is up to the single person.…

Many families and individuals find themselves at some point questioning the advantages of city living versus country living. It is nearly impossible to find a good answer to this question. What is good for one person might not be good for another. Some people enjoy the busy, hyper active metropolitan city where they can use all amenities and have unlimited opportunities for work and leisure. At the same time, other people feel the urge to be closer to Mother Nature, relaxation, beauty, and peace. They take pleasure in living in the calm and peaceful environment of the countryside and spending their free time fishing, hiking, picking berries in the woods, or playing in the creek. In my opinion, the nature of urban and rural life style and the effect it has on people is the most important difference between living in the city and living in the country. I feel fortunate to have grown up in the rural area. I would never trade my memories of playing in the creek, riding four wheelers, or climbing trees all within a short walk from my house. Health, education, and transportation are three major concerns that need to be considered. While city life can bring more opportunities in these cases, country life can provide the best of both worlds.…

My primary reason for choosing the country instead of the city is the clean environment. The air smells fresh and clean, because there are less cars creating pollution. In the city, there are busses, taxis, and cars on all the streets contributing harmful chemicals into the air. While automobiles are not the only cause of pollution, there are also more factories and plants to pollute the air. In the country, the only major industry would be farming, which does not pollute the air in any way. There are more people in the city breathing the air and less forest area to help control the pollution. Since there are less people in the country than in the city, the amount of littering on the roads is also less. The polluted air is very harmful to the human body and that is why I will choose to raise my family in the country where there is less pollution. The clean environment is not the only reason that I will choose to live in the country.…

Being the oldest and having two younger sisters that looked up to me left a lot of responsibility that at times seemed like more than I could handle. I grew up in a very loving home with both my dad and mom in my life. Who wants to walk out of their front door and see nothing but a concrete jungle filled with too many cars? certainly not me! In the country, there is space between you and your annoying neighbors. Having privacy in the city is like trying to grow an oak tree in a thimble. In the country, you can walk out of your front door and see a blue, pollution free sky, the birds are chirping, and maybe upon a distance you see a couple horses or cows. There is no curfew at night time, no annoying patrolling police officers, and you can have a bonfire at your own leisure. Cities are overloaded with people and it proves nearly impossible to step outside without being seen or heard by other people.…
