Pho is made of rice noodle in your choice of broth, the meat that matches the broth flavor, and various kinds of herbs. The key ingredient to bring the right taste of Pho is its broth. It should have a richly luscious taste of meats or bones, most commonly the beef, pork or chicken bones, which are simmered for hours so that all the nutrition and natural flavor are added to the broth. This tasty broth poured into a bowl containing layers of silky white rice noodle, which is topped extremely tender meats and various kinds of healthy fragrant herbs, bring you a perfectly savory flavor and mouth-watering…

As traditionally, people try to pay off all their debts before Tet’s Eve since they believe that success and wealth are waiting for them in the following year as long as they do not owe money through the holiday. Some debtors, who cannot afford to pay off their debts before Tet, buy some small presents for the creditors instead of paying the debts and ask them for more time to pay the money. In addition, because Vietnamese people believe new things on Tet bring new opportunities and luck to the following year, they often decorate their houses with new curtains, new furniture, flowers and plants about ten days before New Year’s Eve. They usually choose bright colors for curtains and…

People should be treated indifferently regardless of their wealth and social standings. Yet, in reality, societies have experienced economical inequalities due to pay scales, tax brackets, and education level. A research study on 23 developed countries and 50 states of the US has shown that countries with higher degree of inequality tend to have higher rates of health, social problems and lower rates of social welfare. To resolve such inequality, the U.S government has consistently intervened by alleviating poverty and redistributing income in different forms of transfer payments such as welfare, Medicare, Social Security and employer-provided health insurance. Despite the good intentions, these programs, which involved large spending, haven’t been entirely effective in helping the poor. Therefore, even though the poor might suffer from an extensive economic inequality, the government cannot intervene by levying these transfer payments to focus on the equal outcome rather than personal freedom.…

Frankly speaking, when I was young, I hated Kim-chi. I was just not a really big fan of vegetables. So my mom tried to make me eat Kim-chi really hard, and one of the ways that she tried was making it in different ways. She tried Kim-chi fried rice, Kim-chi gimbap which is Korean style sushi or Kim-chi pancake. But one of my favorites was fried Kim-chi since it is a sweet way to eat spicy Kim-chi. When my mom made that, she put honey since sugar or corn syrup is not good for your health. And the other ingredients she used to put were Tuna and corn, or Tofu or Spam which are all I loved when I was young, so she put them to make me eat. Also, to make it savory, she used to put butter or cheese in it sometimes. So, the recipe is quite easy if you have Kim-chi. But, The Kim-chi is the most important ingredient since the taste of Kim-chi itself actually determines the whole…
