Chromebook Chargers Research Paper
In the student handbook, it says no bringing your chromebook chargers to school.

In the student handbook, it says no bringing your chromebook chargers to school. I would like to change that. Sometimes you forget to charge your chromebook. I'm trying to change the rule so you can bring your chargers.Sometimes people forget to charge their chromebooks, so I would really like this rule to be changed. When other students forget to charge their chromebooks, that could help them too. This could affect everyone even the teachers. When the kids argue, they can figure something out, so they take turns.

The existing rule is you can't bring your chargers to school. This would make it a lot easier on the kids. Here some big reasons why we should change this

    Case Study: KELL Academy

Cell phones and other technology are allowed because it has such a large and important role in our evolving society. You will also be able to have non-alcoholic drinks and snacks in class. If either of these objects, food or electronics, cause a distraction or makes a mess, your personal privileges will be provoked. Another rule that must be obeyed is your clothing must be appropriate, meaning shorts must go halfway down to the knees, tanktops must have an inch thick strap, and shirts must not show cleavage or midriff. We believe that these rules must be placed to keep kids focused on their education. The rules are loosely based off the rules of Gibson Southern, but not quite as strict. Although you are allowed to have snacks and candy, there is an hour lunch break in which you can eat your lunch. This time is the only allotted time for eating your meal. One of the other rules is that all staff student members must get a parking tag to ensure the safety of everyone in the school. The maximum amount of days you can be absent is eight days. This is also to ensure that all the people in the building are healthy and not getting sick from all the illness spreading around the school. If any of these rules are not obeyed, you will be given three chances. The first chance will be a warning, the second will be a detention, and the third will have the principal getting involved. The number one rule of KELL Academy is to have fun and be creative. It is a fact that kids that learn creatively are more likely to succeed in the school…

“Give me your phone!” “Whose phone was that?” That’s what the students at Mossy Creek Middle School deal with because the school bans the student for using their cell phones in class. My friend, Tucker, got faced with getting placed in ISS for using his phone in class. I believe that the 8th grade students should be able to use their phones in class.…

The argument against backpacks is now justified because students can keep back packs with them and nobody will get hurt. Teachers can set up a designated area for backpacks to got to prevent tripping or any injuries during the school day. Students backpacks will no longer lay about and cause a potential threat to students and teachers safety. We can place them in certain areas of the classroom so that we to continuously ensure the safety of faculty and students. Also back packs pose no greater danger with weapons and or drugs then students everyday purses, gym bags, or even laptop bags. Those items can be just as dangerous as any book bag out there. A bag is a bag, so if you're allowing gym bags, purses or anything of the sort consider that the threat may still remain without backpacks. Last of all having backpacking during emergencies would speed up any the safety procedure since your backpack would be right there with you at all times during the day. If there would ever be a need to leave the school you would have all of your essentials with you so you can grab what you need and exit the building. If you have everything with you evacuating would be much faster, compared to if a student had something precious in his or her locker that they had to…

Today’s society has kids that get so distracted with their devices that they don’t do their homework because they would rather be socializing online. When they finally get around to doing what they were supposed to, they finish it quickly and without caring in order to get back to what they would much rather be doing. It also happens that when getting ready to leave for school they spend so much more time on these devices that they are not paying attention to what they should be doing and often forget their assignments or belongings. This is where parents come to the rescue for their kids. Accordingly, there is a lesson to be learned in this situation. For the kids, they understand that it is okay to not take responsibility for their actions…

Have you been to a gym lately, or maybe had to get an ultrasound, went to the pool, theme park, or even a library? These locations all have something in common there were lockers or a cubby to store your things so you did not have to carry your stuff with you. School should allow for the students of District 8 the same curtesy. Children are still developing and to carry a heavy bag around daily can be damaging to the body. I am asking for reconsideration that lockers be put in the schools to maintain a student’s health, storage, and management of books and supplies. I have had three children go through eight schools, in six states and two countries, and this is the first school system that there have been no lockers or even storage of any sort.…

    School Dress Code

School rules keep students and teachers regulated. I think the one school rule that should be changed is the dress code, because it’s sexist, and it prevents students from showing self expression. Sexism is a huge problem in school. Girl’s are scolded , pulled out of class, and told to change because a simple shoulder is showing. On the other hand, when boys wear cut-off-tees with no sleeves, nothing happens.…

As many schools are using technology to help encourage their students to learn within their modern century of electronics by providing computers and devices, there are some schools who allows their students to bring their own device/technology to be able to utilize the information provided in the school as well as in their household. As there is an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) in placed that standards are similar to each other school district within the United States, it is important for the student and parent to understand what is not tolerated when having access to bring their own device/technology to school.…

    Leaving High School

I know that sounds babyish, but it is true. The most recent troublesome change, we are not aloud to have backpacks in classes now, and they have to be in your lockers in the other building. Dr. Milner said that she was preparing us for high schools, and that no high school lets there kids have backpacks in class. When I visited the Upper School I observed that there wasn’t 1 student without a backpack in class. In addition to that, my brother Nathan claims that he does not even have a locker. I understand Dr. Milner’s intentions, but I believe we should be able to carry our backpacks with us to classes. If even after my argument you still believe that backpacks should not be allowed in classes, then I would ask to have lockers closer to the house. I started being late to class and not having all of my materials. Because there are not spaces for lockers we could have little cubbies with doors on them so that our books will stay safe from the weather. Additionally, we should have assigned school computers so we can keep our tabs open that we do not want to lose. If we had our own assigned computers we would also be able to download PDFs. Plus some kids that don’t care if their computers, that they were using that day, receive a virus because they would just take a different computer the next day, they would live with the glitches. The last and most ambitious element, it would be delightful and greatly appreciated if we could…
