Christmas Carol Research Paper
In the Christmas carol, by Charles dickens, Marley, scrooge's dead business partner, made chains for himself to show what he was in life. He had stuff like money business, and greed on his. If I had a chain it would three things it would probably have sports, vegetarian, and music. I love sports, I have played almost every sport on earth because I'm athletic. When I turned three I started playing soccer, I was fast smart, and amazing at soccer it was my first sport. Soccer was the reason I like sports so much. I have been a vegetarian since 4th grade because I feel it’s the healthier way. After doing research I have found out meat is a big step to cancer. Even though people tease me about not eating meat, at least I know it's healthy.

For the live theatre show, I decided to watch “A Christmas Story, The Musical” directed by Valerie Easton at Vancouver Arts Club Stanley Industrial Aalliance Stage. The show focuses on a child named Ralphie, who wants a Red Ryder BB Gun for Christmas.Valerie’s production captured the happiness and cheerful atmosphere during Christmas and also focus on emphasizing Ralphie’s desire of a BB Gun as his Christmas present. During the show, I was impressed by many design and technical production elements. For example, the quick changes, the adequate use of theatre stage and also the use of sets to change from fantasy and reality. However, the most striking elements to me are the set piece of Ralphie’s house and the sufficient use of rigging system.…

“Our Christmas tree was never even an inch under eight feet, and it took the whole family hours to decorate it. Each year one of us was honored by being allowed to place the angel at the top of the tree, while Father help us up in his strong arms.” (Pelzer 22). This passage is a simile because this is how we are in Christmas, our tree would be long and it takes us a whole hour to decorate it. We are allowed to place the star on top of the tree, and that is what’s amazing about it. This brought my attention and interested me because it showed how good the mother was to her children and hoe kind she treated them, because the name of the chapter called Good Times. It also shows that the kid remember how good she was and then how she turned…

A Christmas Carol Assessment: Writing Assessment Everybody knows the classic Christmas story, “A Christmas Carol”, and are most likely familiar with The Three Ghosts of Christmas. The version I was assigned to read was a shorter version of the original and did not include all the same events. But of course, it included the ghosts. They tried to help Ebenezer Scrooge, a cold-hearted, wretched, old man to find the light before it was too late.…

I think one of the themes in this book is that in life sometimes someone can have the best intenitons to change people and change a culture, but it doesent work and the person conforms to that life. On the otherhand one reason the person intiontentions of new ideas might not work because that person could possibly be before their time meaning that the person ideas could be great for people in the future, it might not work in the present. In this story if Carol was around during the women’s revolution then her ideas could have been viewed as forward thinking and those ideas could have been used and she could have had a better life and could have felt that what she was doing was worth it in the end but because came earlier the majority of…

Health concerns or religious reasons guide some people to this belief. I respect everyone reasons, but I don’t agree with this one. Fraser stated “There’s a lot of evidence that vegetarians live longer, have lower cholesterol levels and have a slim chance of obesity and heart rate disease.” (Fraser, 689). Vegan and vegetarians believe that meat is bad for humans, which is not true. Unprocessed meat is just as healthy as vegetables and fruits because it contains high quality of complete protein. Consuming protein from meat is important because it contains many nutrients and the amino acids we need that our body cannot…

A great work of art that has a great impact on my life is the novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickson. The story tells of a cold hearted, selfish business man named Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by his deceased business partner Jacob Marley and three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Jacob Marley who chained tells Scrooge that he should change his way or he will be punished in the after life. Marley beged for Scrooge to be given a chance to change. The ghost’s job is to persuade Scrooge to change his ways to avoid punishment in the afterlife. The three ghosts show Scrooge past, present, and future events that help Scrooge realize he is wrong and changes Scrooge into a better person. The story has had an impact on my life in many ways. The story taught me that a person’s behavior is a product of their past. If a person is unkind, it is the events that happened in their past that has made them who they are. It’s a reminder that showing compassion toward unkind people can make them a happier. The story has also taught me to treat people with kindness and respect. Lastly the story has taught me to always help the less fortunate because a little kindness can change a person's life.…
