Choosing A Character Analysis: Remember The Titans
If I had to pick a character that i relate to, I would choose Louie from Remember The Titans. I would choose Louie because we both play football, make good grades, and are Christians. In the movie, Louie plays the line in football, as well as I. We both have good grades and Christianity in common. This is why I think I relate to Louie. In the movie, Louie is a starting nose tackle and offensive tackle for the Titans. I also start at tackle and nose. In the movie, Louie has a big part in pumping up the team, I also try to pump up my team. I am always happy and singing on the bus, just like Louie! Louie and I both have a lot in common when it comes to football. Louie also makes good grades in the movie, I as well make good

Krakauer wrote that Chris McCandless was, "green, and he overestimated his resilience, but was sufficiently skilled to last for sixteen weeks on a little more than his wits and ten pounds of rice"(Krakauer 182). In this quote it seems that Krakauer thought that McCandless was well equipped with his skills, so that made moderately prepared to survive in any situation. I feel that McCandless was rather prepared, yet again he never could have been fully prepared for the unexpected. My opinion is that McCandless was vaguely aware of the struggles that he would encounter in the Alaskan wilderness such as his epiphany that "happiness is only real when shared" was realized when his body was dying of starvation. I believed that he found what he was…

I am Miranda Baker, however I’m like no one. I have a hard time relating to anyone, I’m quite a unique person. If I had to choose a character to relate to, I would relate to Doodle’s older brother from The Scarlet Ibis. I am alike this character because I blame myself for things that really aren’t my fault, I always push my brothers to push themselves and to go on past their abilities, mentally and physically, and I go with my brother everywhere and spend a lot of time with him. In all of these ways I am alike Doodle’s older brother, however I’m unlike him in many way as well.…

Grey’s Anatomy, a medical drama that has been on air for the past 11 years, is my all-time favorite show. Not only is the plot of the series extremely riveting and tear-jerking, but the characters are all able to relate to an aspect of your life even through your most difficult hardships, especially the protagonist, Meredith Grey. Meredith Grey, is known for her well-roundedness not due to her ability as a surgeon (as she is the head of General Surgery), but because of her willingness to aid others when they’re in times of trouble. This is especially true when it comes to her best friends; Christina Yang, Isabella Stevens, Alex Karev, and George O’Malley; who struggle through deaths, countless failed relationships, and illnesses throughout…

Instinct, something we all have, is necessary for survival. If we did not have instinct, we wouldn’t have learned anything and wouldn’t know what to do if there ever was a crisis. “I’ll give him a trail to follow…” (Connell, 11). As he was being hunted Rainsford’s, the protagonist from “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, primary instinct was to trick General Zaroff, the antagonist who hunts humans, and this instinct saved his life. “...dad’s star might have moved further… playing a solo…” (Dominey, 235). Tatum, the main character in Audition and Subtraction by Amy Fellner Dominy, learned from past experience that playing her instrument cheered her up. When her parents got a divorce, she used this instinct to her advantage and threw herself into her music by playing a solo for district honor band auditions. In the article “Surviving Hurricane Sandy” ,by Lauren Tarshis, “[Ariel Creamer] created a program called Survivor’s Silver Lining… helped numerous kids…” (17). Her instinct was to take her good fortune of surviving and give back to her community. All these people above had used their instinct to their advantage in order to survive, much as you will or have done in times of crisis.…

However this is about him and not other historic times before him.…
