Child Transition
All children go through different stages of transition throughout their lives. These changes can happen gradually or they could happen all of a sudden. How they react to these changes all depends on the childs personality and the amount of support they receive from family and school.
There are some changes that all children will go through. This is something that everyone will go through during their childhood. There are 3 different types of changes that will affect all children, physical, social and intellectual. Children who receive constant support from the adults around them will have be able to cope with these changes easily.

When children are experiencing puberty, it may change the way they look at their body and might even make them feel embarrassed of the changes. At this age, children the way that children think starts to change and their friends start to have a greater impact on their lives than their family. Their emotions are heightened by the changed and it is a very sensitive time for their relationship with their parents, especially teenagers.
Intellectual changes are experienced academically by children. When children are transitioning from one key stage to another, they have new goals that they have to reach. The academic requirements are always increasing from year to year. However teachers endeavor to prepare the children as best they can to ease the transitions.
Not all children are affected by the same transitions. Things like moving house could mean that children may also have to change schools. A child might feel very isolated and might need extra support to help them deal with this change. Social life transitions could mean that the child has lost someone in the family to death. In this case, it may be harder for younger children to understand the concept of death especially if they see that their family are emotionally
