CHEATINGIS VRY BAD
Cheating happens in the classroom more often than could be recorded. Some of the cheating is intentional, while other cheating could take place inadvertently. Over the rest of this report, we are going to take the topic apart and find out exactly how and why cheating takes place as well as goes against classroom ethics There are many forms of cheating used today in school. Some examples know today include copying a fellow student’s homework, copying answers off someone’s test, writing test questions down for another student. One of the wildest and most bizarre forms of cheating known right now involves the use of a cell phone to pass answers during a final exam. In this type of cheating, students would send messages, via cell phones, to share answers on the multiple-choice portions of the final exam. Most believe that all forms of cheating are wrong. Cheating is believed to me unethical as well as immoral. Your main objectiv There was a time when cheating was rare in schools, but today the whole “importance of learning” aspect has been eliminated. Instead, everyone is focused on making the top ten percent of their class or being valedictorian and we seem to have forgotten school’s purpose. School exists so that we will be educated, not so everyone can cheat their way into being successful.

A lot of students today don’t even view cheating as wrong, and most of those who cheat have been doing it for so long that it doesn’t even faze them. This really bothers me because they probably will never stop to think how bad it truly is. When you cheat, you learn nothing, which is why cheating is so serious.

Our society seems to believe that the more material wealth you have, the more successful you are. This frustrates me because it seems many people have become successful by scamming and cheating their way to the top.

If kids think cheating is normal, who knows what they will find acceptable as adults. Most people think that cheating on one little test doesn’t mean

Clearly, cheating has not got anyone anywhere in life. There are always consequences when cheating. Some people may put it in their heads that it's allowable, when in reality, not one significant achievement comes from it. Many will disagree, but I completely agree that cheating is unacceptable. You'll never get away with what you think you will, whether it's cheating on a test, in a relationship, or during a sports…

However, school systems today have become lenient in rules and guidelines. Students cheat due to lack of effort, external pressures, and opportunity; the effect of cheating leads to wasted opportunities, bad reputations, and kids taking the easy way out. Students have lost confidence in themselves and are now being walked over by others. I hear common stories from my classmates about how someone cheated off of their homework or test, but they don’t want to say anything to the teachers. They have allowed themselves to assume the role of the pushover. The cheaters in this situation are sometimes talked into it by their friends. They are told the only way to pass a teachers class is to cheat, or that “it’s only homework,” or the classic, “a class that cheats together, passes together.” By encouraging my friends to always reject those trying to use them for answers, there has been a decrease in cheating in our classes. If students across the country were the ones to go out and preach not cheating, our society would be much better off. Instead of saying, “a class that cheats together, passes together,” students should be saying, “a class that stays together, goes to the unemployment office together.” The habit of cheating and following the crowd in school will follow students into their future endeavors. Students have failed to make the connection between their actions now and their lives down the line. Though they may get a passing grade now, students are depriving themselves of knowledge the will need to be successful in the long run. For these reasons, it is necessary to encourage students to speak out against cheating. Doing so would…

Cheating is when a person misleads, deceives, or acts dishonestly on purpose. For kids, cheating may happen at school, at home, or while playing a sport. Some kids cheat because they're busy or lazy and they want to get good grades without spending the time studying. Other kids might feel like they can't pass the test without cheating. Even when there seems to be a "good reason" for cheating, cheating isn't a good idea. At school, in addition to cheating on a test, a kid might cheat by stealing someone else's idea for a science project or by copying a book report off the Internet and turning it in as if it's his or her original work. Copying someone else's words or work and saying they're yours is a type of cheating called plagiarizing.…

“Cheating has become so common, experts say, That it often goes unreported and unpunished,” said by Zernike in the Article,”With Students Cheating on the Rise, More Colleges are Turning to Honor Codes.” Without a doubt cheating has become more prevalent is both colleges and high schools. However, some people may question if certain types of cheating are okay and not dishonest and others dishonest. For example, some people may think copying a homework assignment is not a big deal and dishonest while other people think that cheating on exams is dishonest. In addition, some people may resort to cheating when they are not too aware of the material they are trying to learn when it comes to being tested and others do it for the good grade, not because they don’t know it. Also, many studies and surveys have been conducted at various school and I have noticed from the free responses that people are only attending school for the good grade and not to learn. In recent surveys conducted at Point Loma High School, have shown that cheating is a spreading epidemic common…
