Characters In The Odyssey
“Love, Loyalty/honesty, Trust, perseverance, cleverness, and braveness” these are some characteristics of the characters in the movie “the odyssey”.
“The Odyssey” when I heard the title, there’s only one thing that comes into my mind “interesting”, that’s why I’m so excited to watch it. Odyssey is an amazing movie that I’ve watched; it is full of “adventure, romance, and humor”. Also this movie is about Greek gods and goddesses. “Odysseus” name of the main character of this movie. Odysseus is a great man. For me the adventure of Odysseus is “Amazing! As in WOW! ”imagine he was lost in seventeen years, many challenges and trials that he overcome. Odysseus have good personality, he is fast thinker, he is brave to face the challenges, no matter …show more content…
She waited Odysseus return even though there are no clues if Odysseus is still alive or not. It’s really hard to wait, imagine seventeen years, how tiring to wait! But because of her love with Odysseus she waited until Odysseus back and also she kept her promise with Odysseus. Odysseus son “Telemachus” grown-up as fine man, it is sad to think Odysseus, that his son live without his guidance and support. As parent it is difficult for him that he never seen the different stages of his son’s life. Because of his dedication to go home, Athena (god of Wisdom) and Hermes (the messenger) helped Odysseus to find his way home. Because of subtitle it’s easy to understand what they are saying, I can’t deny the fact that some part of the movie is not clear because of their accent in speaking. Every character did their role/part given to them properly so the movie has a good outcome/result/ ending.

After I watched “Odyssey” the movie, I have a lot of things leave into my mind. First, “Without God, Man is nothing” when Poseidon let Odysseus to suffer, for him to understand the importance of God, I realized how “God” powerful, we can never overcome the trials and hindrances without God without his guidance, appreciate and be thankful for what he given us.. Both feature heroic main characters who are tested by formidable challenges during their travels, as is Odysseus in Homer's enduring saga. In fact, the Odyssey is a template for the epic as defined by M. H.
