To begin with, Queen Rania was born in Kuwait on August 1970. She graduated from the American University of Cairo in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, followed by a career in banking and information technology. In 1993, the Queen married King Abdullah bin Al Hussein, and had four children (Queen Rania Biography, n.d.). On the contrary, Ameerah Al Taweel was eighteen years old when she got a chance of a lifetime to have an interview for a school paper with Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal. Later on, she married Prince Alwaleed who was one of the thirty richest people in the world. Although Ameerah became a princess after marriage, she did not want to continue her life doing nothing. The standard of heroes was a bit higher in the previous years than now. Heroes, a hundred years ago, were people who battled and killed to save people’s lives from the evil ones. They prevented criminals and wicked people from harming the innocent citizens. It is considered stereotyping to believe that a hero is one who uses his physical ability and puts his life in danger just to protect other people’s lives. However, people have this mindset because of the movies, films and books that produce stories about powerful men who fight on behalf of their kingdom to bring back peace like Beowulf and Thor. Therefore, children have this mentality due to these entertainment sources. Also, it can affect their behavior by introducing violence to their personality. On the other hand, heroes in the present day are those who change the point of view of some group, teach children new lessons or inspire people to workout and be healthy. For instance, Martin Luther King Jr altered the meaning of a hero in the thoughts of the people. He has put all his effort to show the public that you can be a hero without using cruelty, yet by kindness and changing the lives of people in a positive way. Influential people, teachers, athletes and motivators can be seen as heroes. To be brief, heroes of today can change the world by powerful and meaningful words (Hero’s, n.d.).
