Cut and Girl Interrupted are alike and different in many ways. The main characters Callie and Susanna both struggle from depression and suicidal attempts. The characters have many things in common, such as the nurses Ruby and Valerie. The places where they stay, Sea Pines and Claymoore, can be compared as well.
