Character Of Odysseus In Homer's 'Odyssey'

odysseus was a warrior that fought for his land. he built it with his own strength and sweet. every thing he did was for his village and for the future of his family. he didn't like the idea of men coming to his home and disrespecting it.all those men were going crazy while he couldn't come home because poseidon was punishing him. they eat and drank all there food and treated bad the people of the village and the servants.also he didn't like that they didn't listen to what his wife was telling them, she wasn't going to marry no one because she knew he was going to come back. first of all odysseus lived in a poor kingdom but with his strength and sweet he built and did everything he could to make it a better place. not only for him but for the people and his family.when his kingdom grew big and wealthy he joined the spartans in war to take down troy. he fought along side of aquiles a strong man that had a lot of experience in war. even so they won the war aquiles one of their best soldiers didn't make it. everything he did was to make his home a good place and safe from any threats. second he got punished for thinking that he was all great and mighty like the gods. poseidon wasn't happy with him and so he spoke to him and odysseus told him he doesn't need the gods everything he did was done with his hands.when
after everything that he went through he was ready to give up but then he remembered the promise that he made his wife swear. if he didnt come back before his son turned into a man she shall marry someone else. that was what detryoed him and decided to stay at the land where all the women were. but ones he seen a ship passing by his desire to go back home came back, he loved his wife and he couldnt imagen her with someone else. i believe what poseidon did was correct, despite the loss of lives he learned his lesson. justice was served
