In the book, Mentor: The Kid and the CEO, Pace illustrates the freedom to choose by revealing the challenges of making certain decisions exposing the maturity of the characters’ through their actions and portraying their lifestyle changes towards self-fulfilment; as well at the illustration of the characters’ adversities in their choices. Pace describe the main character, Tony as someone who had been through so much in so little time. He is described as a person that once was a slacker and now a hard-working, determined, young man. Tony got out of his misery due to his mentor, Malcolm.
