Young people share their different accounts of issues they may face growing up, from gun crime to graduation, teenage pregnancy and even homelessness. A positive stance towards this situation would be for children to have supportive parents so that they are taught how to have stability to grow a healthy lifestyle. There’s a short story called “The Crystal Stars Have Just Begun to shine”, this story is a perfect example of what I’m trying to refer to, its very understanding.

The story by Martha Brooks really shows a sense of conflict between person vs person and person vs self. In the story the main character “Lisa” has conflict with her father because he’s in an isolated stage to where he isn’t as sociable anymore, what doesn’t help is he also lost his wife. Adults need to realize that as young people transition through various stages of education into the “workforce”. As a child, your innocent and pure, you have no acknowledgement about anything what so ever about life and how it works, that’s where adults come in, they mold, shape, and teach you right from wrong.

Children go through many challenges in their lives but the worse would be having neglectful parents. There are also can be ups and downs in a family as young people test their limits and try new freedoms, but still need the security of their parents. Parents also often feel unsure of themselves behind their “grown-up” attitude. Children may have to deal with bullies, mean teachers, hard homework, stress, boyfriend’s, girlfriends, or even the simplest things like being excluded from every “game” or “club” because your either to tall, to short, to “ugly”, or even to “weird”. Youngsters are the cruelest kind of human beings because they haven’t learned to respect or care for others, or even the faults of their actions.

The most important thing to resolve a child’s challenge is to have their parents to guide them. Some things that parents could do to help their child are, talk to them about the changes that are going through in their lives, be a good role model, show them what you expect. Also Provide structure and routine around school and family. Children have difficulties with communicating about their challenges or problems, so by building a relationship and spending time together may show increase in communication/sharing levels.

Thus, Impending on children’s behavior the society still waits on a solution against big complications in youngster lives. Child complications are just a phase because when our lifestyle develop and increase, you gain confidence and acknowledgement towards problem solving on your own, and also learn how to resolve conflicts with your own educational skills. Encountering challenges is difficult with children, but always remember to resolve them in a smart manner. By: Patty Lamanna
