Causes Of Shootings
On October 1st a gunman opened fire on the Route 91 Harvest Festival concert in Las Vegas, Nevada. With an arsenal of weapons, the man injured and killed many people. It was a devastating attack on Americans. The man’s name was Stephen Paddock. He checked into a hotel overlooking the concert. Then, he started shooting, killing 59 people and injuring 520. Stephen then killed himself. He brought more than 23 guns with him in the hotel. After it went down, first responders were there to help the wounded. Adding on to the many shootings happening around the world, this was a tragic event. People are becoming more fearful of attacks when going out. It also causes a lot of debating in politics. The best way to prevent this is to tighten security.
