Cause Of Civil War
There were many causes of the Civil War. The people of the south were angry with the election and that they were going to lose their way of life. The south was afraid of losing money and they didn't think the slaves were humans. The south decided to leave the union and that caused a lot of hate. It was considered a treasonous act to leave the Union.

It started with the election of Honest Abe. The South did not want him to be elected. The south wanted Breckinridge to become elected because he had the same ideals that the rest of the south had. They were afraid that if Abe became president that they would lose their identity. They thought that if Abe became president he would make the slaves free.

The slave trade in the south is what helped
