When I was sixteen, my great grandmother received Occupational Therapy when she was ill. At that moment I realized I wanted to become an Occupational Therapist. I witness the connection between the Occupational Therapist and my great grandmother and how she helped her learn how to reconnect with her environment. She was so sensitive, understanding, and patient; all of the characteristics that I value tremendously. This career will allow me to be creative and imaginative in catering my therapeutic intervention to specific scenarios.
