My long term career goal is to be one of the leading entrepreneurs in the field of finance engineering. A professional who can design strategies and provide financial solutions that cater to the needs of various corporations and financial institutions. Currently the world is going through a phase of huge financial crisis lead by failure of major banks and credit agencies. The main factors which lead to this failure are lack of proper understanding of various financial instruments and the risks associated with the same. I intend to contribute to this challenging environment and provide optimal solutions to various problems of finance. I would develop myself as a professional who can apply evaluate and hedge the risk using different risk models, innovative methods and sophisticated finance tools. I foresee my career initially from an advisory perspective i.e. working with a leading investment bank/consulting firm or in treasury of a large commercial bank. Thereafter with extensive experience and networking, I would like to move ahead to establish a professional institution that would cater to all the financial needs of business, right from structuring the best possible finance mix to providing adequate tools and solutions for all the financial risks and needs. This foresight along with my personal entrepreneurial bent of mind, adequate theoretical understanding and an affinity for finance can play a big role in the evolution of my career. My current position as an executive in assurance and advisory for clients in the financial services domain has allowed an insight into corporate financial problems and as well given me a solid technical and quantitative training in understanding the same.
