Caleb And Ava Analysis
-The first meeting between Caleb and Ava.
For Caleb, the first meeting is the opportunity to evaluate Ava and the artificial intelligence. Ava can start the Caleb seduction and manipulation.
Ava knows that she will have to found a way to get out of the Nathan house if she doesn’t want to «die». When she sees Caleb for the first time, she understands that this guy can represent the exit. Ava starts the seduction and the manipulation of Caleb. It is the beginning of the surviving progress for Ava.
-Ava says to Caleb to beware of Nathan during the first power cut.
Ava creates a power cut by reversing her recharge. During the power cut, she says to Caleb to beware of Nathan because the cameras don’t work.
This short conversation between Caleb and Ava has a big impact on the rest of the story. In fact, Caleb begins to distrust Nathan. Ava starts the emotive manipulation of Caleb. She wants that Caleb stop collaborate with Nathan.

Ava uses her beauty and the fact that Caleb doesn’t have a family and a girlfriend to seduce him.
In the meeting, Ava appears more like a human than a robot. First, she wears clothing and she says to Caleb that she will wears this clothing when they will get out of the Nathan house. This conversation has a big signification because it means that Caleb understands he will have to save Ava. At this point of the story, Ava reaches an important part of the surviving progress. In fact, she has an allied in Caleb. The next meeting is an opportunity to reinforce the Caleb manipulation. Indeed, she increases the seduction. For example, she spends one meeting to ask questions to Caleb.
