CAPE Certification
The main goal of APENS is to promote a nationally certified Adapted Physical Educator. If you would like to be certified you need to fall into one of three different categories. The first category is you can be recently graduated and/or a qualified physical education teacher. The second category is you can be a professional physical educator for ten or more years in full time experience. Lastly, the third category is you can be a person teaching in higher education and academic programs. Each separate group have different articles and require proof of the certain qualifications.
One option for receiving the APENS certification would be taking the APENS exam. This is only available for recently graduated or qualified physical

    As a para-educator, I believe it is imperative to not only meet the educational needs of our students, but also their emotional needs as well. Every day I strive to make each child feel welcome and cared for. I greet them with a smile, and call them by name.     My name is Kaleigh Gonzales I’m a 15 year old sophomore and I’m running for the 2014-2015 officer position of reporter for Armwood High Schools FFA Chapter.
