I. Executive Summary

Buko pie is a traditional Filipino baked young-coconut custard pie. There are also variations of the pie, which are similar but use slightly different ingredients, such as macapuno pie, that uses a special type of coconut which differs from ordinary coconut as it is thick and sticky. Buko pie is traditionally plain, but other flavorings may be used, such as pandan, vanilla, or almond essences. “Pick A Pie” is a kind of buko pie that has a twist of fruits and vegetables. The fillings would have a banana, squash, and chocolate flavor and the crust would have a malunggay leaf that is also nutritious. There are competitors in Los Banos, Laguna that offers Buko Pie. The business will be established in the place where there is no direct competitor because it is new in the place. The target market are the mall goers 15 years of age and older. According to the survey results conducted in SunStar Mall Sta. Cruz, Laguna where the business is establish majority of the respondent prefer squash flavor of pie. “Pick A Pie” offers to sizes of pies, standards size and small size or tart pie that will be affordable “Pick A Pie” form of ownership will be partnership. Partners decide to form a General partnership wherein each partner is involved in the day-to-day operations of the business and each partner bears personal responsibility for the liabilities of the partnership. Each of the partners will invest P50, 000 worth of fund from their personal savings, assets and sources. The total capital invests will worth of P250, 000 to establish and operate the business.

Mission

To provide innovative Pie that will satisfied and exceeds the customer’s needs, wants, and demand at reasonable price. At the same time providing income for the partners, employment and good relationship in the public by serving fine and quality pie.

Vision

To be recognized in the market through unique and nutritious delicacy of Pie in Laguna and in CALABARZON after 7 years. To be competitive in the current market and to penetrate market share by ensuring quality product and excellent services.

Partnership will be set up. Partners decide to form a General partnership wherein each partner is involved in the day-to-day operations of the business and each partner bears personal responsibility for the liabilities of the partnership. Partners believe that innovation of existing product is highly competitive in gaining advantages against the competitors.
