Bruno Mars “ Nobody’s gonna tell me I can’t”said Bruno Mars. Bruno Mars plays the guitar,piano,bass,keyboards,drums,and horns.The path Bruno Mars took to becoming famous was challenging. Bruno Mars didn’t have the easiest childhood. Bruno Mars lived in Honolulu, Hawaii.The name he was given when he was born is Peter Hernandez. His father is Puerto Rican and his mother is Filipino. His parents were professional musicians. They performed together on the sand of Waikiki Beach. They were called “ The Love Notes.”When Bruno turned four he got to perform with his parents. He played the song “ Little Elvis.”When he turned twelve his parents split up. His four sisters moved in with their mom and him and his brother moved in with their dad. They had …show more content…
When he arrived in Los Angeles he was assigned to Motown Records. Gone was his given name for singing but he didn't like that name so he gave himself the name Bruno Mars. He choose that name because Bruno was his nickname as a child and Mars reminds him to shoot for the stars. Motown Records dropped him. One day he was in Burbank,California at Glenwood Place a recording studio. He was trying to finish his third album. Before he had published 24K Magic he hadn't published anything since 2012. James Fauntleroy helped Bruno with the album 24K Magic. James said that Bruno could actually be the next Prince. Bruno Mars said he is trying to be the next Prince or Michael Jackson. Bruno and Adele made a song together it is called “ All I Ask”. The song wasn't up long because there was a verse that didn't make sense to them at first. The verse was “But Lovers”. They didn't think lovers was a real word. But they put some thought into it and said we should put it back up because it is unique so they put it back up. Bruno has performed two Super Bowl half times. Any way back to the album 24K Magic Bruno has been the world's biggest music star since it has came out. Bruno Mars didn't have a challenge to his singing career but that is about to change. Bruno Mars has went through many challenges in his life. Bruno Mars has been almost broke and homeless.
