Bravery
Bravery is something not everyone has, and I think everyone can be brave they just don't know what they're capable of yet. Bravery to me makes you stand out from everyone else. It's not something anyone can just get overnight, it is being a leader and doing what you know is right. When I think of bravery, i think of my mom. She is a customs agent, and here in Laredo, since we live in laredo her job takes a lot of bravery.
We all know that being brave isn't easy and it takes time. But some people do it for a living. Like firefighters go out and almost every day risking their lives trying to save people from a burning house. You don't have to be a superhero to be brave, or it doesn't mean you aren't scared of anything. You are afraid

In the film ‘3:10 to Yuma’ we see numerous pieces of courage shown by numerous different people, even people you wouldn't expect to see it from. There is three perfect examples of this in the film, When Will Evans, Dan Evans son, builds up enough ‘COURAGE’ to save his father from being shot in the head by Ben Wade, by holding a gun to Ben Wade, even though he knows that if he gets a chance, he will disarm and possibly kill him, due to him being much fast than william, but he stepped out of his comfort zone to protect his father Another is when the vet builds up enough ‘COURAGE’…

My protector, Philip Fonsworth went into the Army to fight for the freedoms that we currently have in present day and often take for granted. Philip was stationed in multiple places that forced him to remain uncomfortable, but in Korea the dramatic anger forced upon Americans was unbearable. Some people find it hard to utilize their inner strengths and over power their weaknesses. Courage is the undiscovered strength beyond ones comfort ability. According to Mayblum, “On the 85th floor a brave associate of mine and I headed back up to our office to drag out my partner who stayed behind.” That showed tons of bravery for going back up a fiery building to save a friend. Another man was seen being brave as he fought a fire with an emergency hose. Mayblums partner also showed bravery by testing an elevator to help a heavyset man make it out of the building. These people were scared but hid the fear and let the bravery inside them be seen on September 11, 2001.…

.You the saying action speaks louder than words well those actions of bravery are honor in history and made history books as well. For example in the 1960s in the civil rights movement Martin Luther King Jr. is a man that a nation looks up to for having courage and for fighting for injustice. He believed that all men and women should be equal and also believed that the citizens should have the power to have a voice on their own rights. The way he got his point across is by having non-violent protest, and speaking to the people about his opinion from his speeches. Everybody everywhere was influenced by his teaching if people like: Rosa Parks and Malcolm X. All of the these courageous role model’s seemed fearless but they were afraid at the same time so they put their doubts aside and made history. As a matter of fact, if they did not do take matters into their own hands and listen to their fear. There would probably be no black president today, because of segregation or no woman working because of the women's rights. You know why would that happen because they were afraid for their own personal vendettas by scared you may regret the things that you should done when you had the confidence and the courage…

Heroes are brave. They put their life on the line to save others. An example of this happened on December 3 when state trooper Michael J. Miles saved an unnamed 3 year old boy from his abductor, Michael Ramirez, who had taken him from his home. After Ramirez escaped the police's tail on him, he ran into the North Carolina forest where “Miles used his knowledge of the area to… approach him on foot” (Hero Trooper Saves 3 Year Old After Amber Alert 1). That is bravery. He put his fears aside so he could save a little boy because he knew that by the time people would come to help it could be too late. Without Miles’ bravery, that little boy might not be alive. Bravery, however, is not the only important quality of a hero.…

Soldiers. Police men. Fire Fighters. When most people think of courage they picture a superhero, or a war veteran. The type of person or superhuman who goes to the extreme to fight for what they believe is right. But courage can be brought down to a much simpler level than that. It’s not that those who fight for their country, or catch criminals aren’t heroes, they are. But so is someone who runs for mayor because they have a brilliant idea to solve poverty in the community. But the thought of public speaking petrifies them. Or maybe it’s someone who decides to go into construction on tall buildings because they know how to use technology to buffer the effects that earthquakes have on large structures. But heights make them squirm. Just…

Bravery. It's a word associated with the ability to stand up for yourself or the determination to take risks. So basically, no one would ever say that about me because I am a person who doesn't really care enough to stand up for myself or determined enough to take risks. I just go with whatever else is happening in my life and never step out of my established, little circle. Why should I? I like the way I am without taking risks or having to defend myself against or for anything. Staying where I am, who I am without all the anticipation, suspension, or excitement caused by and corresponding to bravery is fine with me. But without taking risks in your life, people call you boring, cowardly, mellow. You never experience the rush of exhilaration often described in books whenever someone does something exciting, brave, or dramatic. And so being the boring person that I am, I decided one day to step out of the circular wall that I have built around me and try to get a taste of what it is like to be out of my comfort zone.…
