Courage in Life
A simple illustration of courage can dramatically alter one’s life. In the novel Theories of Relativity by Barbara Haworth Attard, the author tends to show that a simple courageous act can significantly change one’s life. In some cases in the novel the characters tend to be not even be aware of it.The characters Jenna, Dylan, and Ainsley genuinely demonstrate how showing courage is so crucial in life, and that it can essentially change one’s life to either granting them good or bad fortune, without them even being aware of it.

By Asif 3 getting in the right mindset, Dylan is motivated that he can get off the streets just like Ainsley did. Likely, Dylan makes another key decision showing great amount of courage. “He doesn’t own me, tell him I’ve changed my mind, I don’t want any part of him” (Attard 242). Once again having the right mentality Dylan feels more confident that he could get away from
Brendan. He decides to handle things on his own,and not anybody elses was. Lastly, Dylan makes a decision to make a phone call to Glen. “When can I start work” (Attard 260). Dylan makes a phone call to Glen and finally finds some success in life.     First, Neal shows courage in the story.He has to work up enough courage to ask Lionel for forgiveness because he killed his family. After all the years Lionel’s family has been dead, Neal has to come and convince the person he hurt so very badly to forgive him. This action requires courage because he is doing what is right but it may not end the way he wishes. Secondly, the character Elaine shares the same attributes as Neal.
