There are two ways that you can enter the second floor. If you enter the bookstore from first floor and then you can go upstairs through stairways. There is also a separate entry near to the FM library at the second floor.
To provide convenience for students, the second floor sells textbooks, which is the most important function of bookstore, school supplies, which are the necessities for students to study, and all kinds of daily necessities, which can provide convenience for students’ lives.
The layout of the second floor is divided into two parts.
At the outside part, which is near to the separate entry of second floor, you can buy school supplies and daily necessities, such as desk lamp, lamp bulb and bath or kitchen accessories. Once upon consumers entering the second floor from the separate entry, the first thing they can see is three small shelves placed with notebooks with Lehigh print. These goods usually have high sales volume because every student needs notebooks and as students of Lehigh University, they prefer items with Lehigh logo. Gift cards are placed at the left perimeter of the outside area, which is also a place can be easily seen when you enter the store. Compared to daily necessities, gift cards have a higher turnover so it’s convenient for customers to place them near the entry. Some big daily necessities, such as trash and clothing container, and dorm essentials, such as pillow and hanger, are placed at the rear and not

When we went to Weis, we tried to keep an eye on how people were shopping along with how the store made it easier for people to shop. We tried watching different types of people, to get many points of views. We made sure we followed around a single person, a group of people, and a family. We did see some differences in how they shopped, but we do not think it was because how the store was laid out. A person…

The two stores’ atmospheres that I will compare in this paper will be J.C. Penney and Kohl’s. Both stores are very similar in every aspect. They are both retailers that offer a variety of goods, such as apparel, shoes, and accessories for women, children and men, and home products such as small electronics, kitchen electrics, electric shavers, toothbrushes, vacuums & floor care, bedding, toys, and luggage. Basically anything you would ever need to survive except for food is offered at both of these retailers.…

Muskets and uniforms line in perfect, linear rows, as spiral staircases extend up to the third floor. Everything is sorted in weight, as the lightest things are on top and the heaviest things are on the bottom. This assists the bricks’ support as they suspend the 2nd and 3rd floor. The Magazine’s unique and clever attributes stand out and is recognized as a queer, iconic building of many purposes.…

The original University library was called the South Caroliniana Library. This was the “first separate college library building in the country”, according to the library's website. It is the oldest continuously operated library building in the United States, and it has rare books from before 1860. However, when the University closed during the Civil War, funding to the library and university were significantly depleted. In 1940 a different library was dubbed the main library. The McKissick library, named after the University president at the time, was the main library until 1976. It is now the University's museum. Between 1940 and 1976 the undergraduate library was designed and built. This was the first separate undergraduate library in the south and the third in the nation. It contained an abundant amount of resources for undergraduate students. When the collection of books outgrew the McKissick, around 1976, the University turned to architects to find a solution. A new library was designed as a renovation to the undergraduate library. Thus the Thomas Cooper library was born. Only about 30% of the undergraduate library was used to make it. The construction was a challenging process, but the result was worth it. It was a seven story building including three undergraduate research floors and four more floors underneath the ground. It has 45 miles of shelving and has the potential to hold 1.5 million books. It was well received by the community, because they saw use in it. The people living near it thought it was an excellent use of funds…

Walking along the cold, damp snow, I grasped the fact that I was either walking to my doom or my desire. As I approached the tormenting, ancient building; my eyes gawped upon the name – ‘Frank Richardson School’. “I’m going to be enslaved here…for 2 whole weeks!” thinking to myself, simultaneously; judging about whatever beneficial things that can occur. As I stepped in to the building, silence greeted me! With unsure steps, I continued to walk along the reception. The reception was really organised, the chairs were sitting on the left clinging on to the vibrantly exhibited walls of children’s work. On the right displayed the golden, sparkling trophy that mounted in pride on the shelves displaying their vibrant glow to the visitors. Separating the reception and main school stood a sky blue wooden door, old and studded with large iron nails, and set in a projecting doorway of a vast, dull corridor. Near that door existed a stainless white, wooden entrance displayed with a golden, flashing plate stating…
